Odashima talks about the case of Pierre Taki

According to Mr. Takashi Odashima ---
People in the media have repeatedly advertised that drug abuse are extremely antisocial and shameful crimes, and that it is the mission of their media to convict and pursue those who committed the crimes.
I think that Lynch coverage by the media plays a role in keeping inexperienced people away from the temptation of drugs.
However, even though the attitude of the media contributes to closing the entrance to illicit drugs, the current media scrum has only the opposite effect, in terms of providing an exit from drugs, or  of guiding a person who has become addicted to rehabilitation. ,
For those who secretly use drugs, media attacks on drug abusers may be a reason to hide any habit of drug intake, even if they wish to get rid of drug dependence in their own way.
Lastly, I would like to leave a word from a position as a patient with alcoholism who is cutting out alchohl. ("You will be an alchohlic in your thirties, will suffer from personality destruction in your fifties and die at the age of 60." said the doctor to me.)
More than 20 years have passed since then.

Many alcohol addicts fail to abstain from alchohl, because they are told to try to make the desire for alcohol surrender "by themselves", "by force" or "by the power of the will".
If you do this, sooner or later you will reach the point where patience breaks down. There is a limit to patience.
I can stand up to the limit, but when the limit comes up, I end up being overwhelmed.
If you are looking at reports that condemn drug users, all addiction patients are described as
"People who are not patient"
"A person without self-control"
"People who care for themselves"
Why couldn't  he  get out of the illicit drug and  just stop it, although he had a good understanding of losing everything once it was discovered?  Not just because he has a weak will or is over-optimistic.
It means that he was ill.
The meaning of being ill means that it can not be cured by itself, it can not be helped if you blame yourself, and that you have to use the power of others for treatment.
I interviewed with Mr.  Pierre Taki three times. Every time I  spent a pleasant time with him, I think so from the bottom of my heart. I am very grateful.
As far as I know, no one is so explosively more interesting than any performer or talent as Mr.Taki. Mr. Taki was one of the most interesting people I 've ever talked  with in my life. This is the truth that never changes in my mind.
I do not think that the power of the medicine gave him his being fantastically funny and interesting.
Drugs and alcohol can change your mood, but you cannot change the content of your head.
In order to regain the splendor of the content of your head again, I hope that you should give up medicine, Mr.Taki!
